Zebras by Born in a Taxi

Potluck Arts welcomed Australian company Born in a Taxi in June 2017 to Northwest Arkansas for a residency of free outdoor immersive theatrical experiences. This project’s impact was wide-reaching thanks to partnerships with 3 varying organizations Arts Center of the Ozarks, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and Rodeo of the Ozarks. The unexpected joy of happening upon a chess game full of audience participation or roaming zebras at a western dance made for an unforgettable experience in Northwest Arkansas.

About The Performance

From Down Under to Downtown – The Born in a Taxi Zebras help kick off the Rodeo of the Ozarks with a little prancing, grazing, tap dancing, singing, and just lounging on the occasional lap – these irreverent and remarkable creatures love to show their stripes and horse around with Rodeo fans, bringing them into the herd for some unexpected fun.
