Triciclo Rojo’s Vagabond

About The Project

Potluck’s fall 2017 programming focused on non-language based family performances and Triciclo Rojo from Mexico invited our audience into the world of contemporary circus through clowning. Performances were enhanced with multiple engagement activities, including Potluck’s Pre-show playroom where our youngest theatre goers could explore the world of circus by learning a circus trick, reading a book, or creating a take home craft. Post show each child received a red clown nose as a memento. This program was used to pilot an accessible $1 ticket for arts newcomers and families to experience circus together.
