So sang Woody Guthrie as the dust bowl moved people westward. And so too do our acrobats move, although eastward in a cloud of gymnastic chalk, to an American new circus mecca, the Ringling International Arts Festival in Sarasota. It’s a happy-sad day in the Potluck kitchen.

It’s been a fantastic run at the Springdale Civic Center. Thank you, Eddie Vega! Potuck Arts is grateful for our community’s belief in the ┬íCircus Sites! project and to Gravity and Other Myths for being such compelling ambassadors of contemporary circus arts.

We’ve enjoyed meeting neighbors across Northwest Arkansas, whose curiosity got the best of them, lured mat-side to A Simple Space. We’ve heard your astonishment of the acrobats physical courage and discipline, their good humor and magnetic warmth. It’s clear that you admire their trust, constructed in the hours, days and months of working together competitively but also in complete support of one another.

Neighbors, you have one last chance before saying good bye to our friends from Oz after the 2:00p show today. Still need tickets?
